Who runs this site

This site advertises garage door repair services in Lubbock and Lubbock County, Texas. When you call the number published here, your call is answered and the work is carried out by an independent garage door contractor serving that area. This site is not itself the licensed contractor performing the work.

What we collect

When you call

• Your phone number, including where caller ID is withheld but captured by the network carrying the call
• The date, time and length of the call
• What you tell us about the door, the fault and the property
• The service address, so a technician can be sent to it
• A recording or transcript of the call, where recording is in use

When you use the site

• Standard server log data: IP address, browser and device type, referring page, and the pages you viewed
• Cookies and similar technologies set by this site and by any analytics or advertising services in use on it
• Anything you type into a form on the site, if a form is present

We do not ask for payment card details, bank details or government identification numbers through this website.

Call tracking and recording

The phone number shown on this site may be a tracking number provided by a call network rather than a line answered in an office. That network records the call metadata described above, and may record the audio of the call, in order to route it, measure advertising performance and bill for it.

Where calls are recorded you will be told at the start of the call. Texas is a one-party consent state for call recording, but notice is given regardless. If you would rather not be recorded, say so at the start of the call, or contact us by email instead.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising.

Cookies

This site sets cookies that are necessary for it to function, and may set analytics cookies that tell us which pages are read and which adverts produced a call. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Blocking the necessary ones may stop parts of the site working.

How long we keep it

• Call records and job details: for as long as needed to complete the work and cover the warranty period, then as required for tax and insurance purposes
• Call recordings: kept by the call network for its standard retention period, then deleted
• Website analytics: retained in aggregate

Your choices

Under the Texas Data Privacy and Security Act, Texas residents may ask us to confirm whether we hold personal data about them, provide a copy of it, correct it, delete it, or stop selling it — which we do not do in any case.

To make a request, email garagedoorrepairlubbock@gmail.com with enough detail for us to find your record, such as the phone number you called from and the approximate date. We will respond within the period the law allows. If we refuse a request we will tell you why, and you may appeal that decision by replying to our response.

Children

This site is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with information, contact us and we will delete it.

Access to enquiry records is limited to the people who need it to do the work. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
